Why the Busiest People Get the Most Donefeatured

Have you ever seen a mother of three with a full time job somehow make it to every party and child-related function that there is?

I have.

And I have always wondered how it’s possible that some of the busiest people in the world seem to get the most done.

I work full time and make it to the gym everyday. That’s as much as I can currently handle on most days. I do my best to be as social as possible but life sometimes doesn’t allow for this.

And no matter how much I would like to complain that I never have time to get anything done, I feel I am extremely productive now compared to the days when I used to work part time.

Why is this?

The busiest people get the most done because they place value on every minute of their time. They schedule things out in advance and do everything with intent. They know how to prioritize their life and accomplish more than others.

Think about the days where you only have one errand to run. I know I am the type to put it off until the last second, and then I ask myself, “Where did the day go?” Yet the days I work 8 hours I seem to end up getting groceries for the week, washing my car, going to the gym, bank, Starbucks, and so on…

This is because in my busiest days I have to make time for the things that are important rather than put things off until it is convenient.

On busy days, there is no down time. Busy people often have no choice but to place great value on how they their time and energy on any given day.

At the end of the day, busy people only show up to what really matters most. I am currently learning this skill.

I’m usually the type of gal that says yes to all things fun related. But now that I’m on the verge of having a husband, things must change. He will always come first and I will do my best to get as many things done as possible by prioritizing accordingly.

The busiest people in life get most done because they plan, prioritize, and value their time as well as other people’s time. And it’s as simple as that.

Love Deeply and Forever,
